Shipping policy
RMA
An RMA (Return Authorization Number) is required, and must be written on the outside shipping carton. Email us at hillbropro@gmail.com with the following information to obtain a Return Authorization Number and return shipment instructions:
- Original hillbro.com order number
- If you would like credit or exchange
- Was the product installed or attempted to be installed?
- Product Part Number(s) for Exchange/Return
- Why you want to return the product, please describe in detail
- If exchanging please specify the replacement part you would like sent
- Any comments you have
We will then email you back with the RMA number.
RETURN ADDRESS:
Please note:
- A restocking fee of 15% + the cost of the original shipping may apply to all returns.
- A restocking fee of 20% + the cost of the original shipping may apply for open box items.
- We do not cover return shipping (exceptions include if we ship the wrong part).
- All warranty work is handled by the manufacturer, including HillBro Product.
ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS
- Returns must be packaged securely in an outer carton
- Do not write on the product packaging itself. Write only on the outer shipping carton.
- Packages received without a Return Authorization Number written clearly on the outer carton will be refused.
- Returnable items must be received by HillBro, LLC within 30 days of the product being received by you the customer. (determined by UPS Tracking info)
- Returned product must be in new, re-saleable condition, with all original boxes, packaging, parts, cables, manuals, etc.
- Upon receipt, all returns will be inspected, and, at our discretion, credit may be refused or a restocking fee of 5%-10% may be assessed.
- Original shipping charges will not be refunded.
- Customer is responsible for shipping costs incurred to return products.
- Fitment is ultimately the responsibility of the customer.
EXCLUSIONS - ITEMS THAT CANNOT BE RETURNED:
- Items over 30 days from purchase date
- Product has been installed and/or used
- Product has been damaged from an attempt to be installed and/or used
- Product is shipped back with out original box, manual and/or parts
- Seal on electrical parts is broken
- Product serial number does not match that of which was original shipped to buyer
- Off-Road electronics or custom tunes, unlocks or supporting hardware classified as "off-road" or "race"
- Product is deemed not resell able by powertechdiesel.com due to customers own actions in dealing with the product
Shipments refused or unwanted by you the customer and returned back to HillBro, LLC will carry an automatic 10% restocking fee deducted from the total credit owed.
TRUCK FREIGHT:
- All products shipped via LTL Truck Freight will require flat rate shipping fees during the checkout process or shipping fees processed manually by a powertechdiesel.com representative. All flat rate fees are valid only in the Continental United States (Lower 48), orders shipping outside the USA or to Hawaii or Alaska will use these shipping charges as a deposit and any additional shipping charges will be the responsibility of the purchaser before the items will ship. Contact our team for a detailed shipping quote.
- Signatures are required for all truck freight items. HillBro will not be responsible should an adult not be present during delivery attempts and will not be responsible for any additional fees that may be applied for failed delivery attempts by the shipping agency.
- Typical truck freight items do not qualify for our free shipping offer and charges will be stated on the product page and during checkout for fees relating to delivery only within the lower 48 United States.

BACKORDERS OR SHIPMENT DELAYS:
- We allow ourselves 24 hours to process orders starting the following business day from when the order is placed. Most items leave from our product warehousing locations across the United States.
- Some items are special order or come directly from the manufacturer. Delays in processing times or shipping can occur for these items. Your patience is appreciated.
- Periodically, a part may be discontinued or temporarily unavailable that is listed on our website due to changes or production issues by the Manufacturer. We make every attempt to maintain current information and stock levels, but are not responsible for any manufacturing delays.
WARRANTY:
All product warranties if any, implied have been done so at the discretion of the manufacturer. If you need warranty assistance on any product you've purchased, please contact the manufacturer directly, including HillBro branded items.
Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.
Additional non-returnable items:
- Gift cards
- Downloadable software products
- Some health and personal care items
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
- Book with obvious signs of use
- CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at hillbropro@gmail.com and send your item to: HillBro, LLC, 20 W Industrial Park Rd, Saint Anthony ID 83445, United States.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
